Power Belt Conveyors

Metzgar inclined and horizontal Power Belt Conveyors are designed to bring increased efficiency to assembling, shipping and receiving operations. Power belt conveyors can accommodate a wide range of items, from bulky boxes and bundled items to furniture, small engines, packing cases and packaged goods. Power belt drives can be sized to meet your light, general or heavy load requirements. Portable models are available. All units can be equipped with reversible travel.

The inclined power conveyor increases usable space by utilizing basements, mezzanines, lofts, and other limited access areas; providing an uninterrupted flow of goods to and from these areas.

Inter-floor and power booster units are normally equipped with nose-over and /or power tail units. Their exact length is determined by the length of the longest item to be conveyed. The length of the nose-over should be at least one-half the length of the longest package to be handled.

Belts need not be as wide as the package being conveyed, a 6" overhang is acceptable when handling most cartons.
