The Systems Group consists of eight sales engineers with responsibility for all phases of your material handling systems integration, including system design, project management, installation, and service. Each and every project over the last 30 years has been successfully completed by this group to the complete satisfaction of our clients. The scope of the skills required for these complex systems include a thorough knowledge of conveyors, carousels, ASRS systems, software controls, management software, electrical and mechanical design and installation, systems integration, and project management. The Engineering Department includes a Structural and Pneumatics Engineer, a robotics specialist and four Design Engineers. FloStor was one of the first material handling integration companies to embrace the use of CAD technology to provide our clients with accurate and detailed design of their projects, and are currently standardized on Autodesk's Inventor 3D. Customers receive complete mechanical and electrical layout drawings, and FloStor maintains a library of the project drawings for the future benefit of our customers.
INSTALLATION & SERVICE
FloStor maintains Quality Control project management standards and continues to implement advanced project management technologies such as MS Project software and collaboration systems from eProject. FloStor is a fully licensed general contractor in the States of California and Nevada and employs qualified journeymen millwrights to ensure the quality and effectiveness of our work. The Installation and Service Group is outfitted with a fleet of company-owned vehicles and the correct tools for the project, FloStor clients are assured that our installation crews can accomplish the job properly the first time, on time. The services offered include modifications to existing systems, installation, warranty service, preventive maintenance, and emergency service. FloStor maintains a full fabrication shop at its facility in Hayward, California for custom integration and parts requirements.
ELECTRICAL & CONTROLS
The Electrical & Controls Group consists of licensed electricians with extensive experience in industrial automation and controls. Services include full electrical design and installation, panel design and fabrication, plc programming, motion control, RF and barcode systems, and network buses. The in-house Electric Group provides FloStor with greater flexibility and faster response, as well as a competitive cost advantage.
The Operations Group focuses coordination between Sales, Engineering, Installation, and Service. This structure is to ensure adherence to quality standards in all of the services supplied to our clients.
The Dealer Sales Group is staffed by three Hytrol Conveyor specialists responsible for serving over 200 dealers in Northern California and Northern Nevada. Our dealers are competent and qualified to serve vertical markets, from poultry processing to bottling plants, and they rely on the high quality standards of Hytrol Conveyors.
